Most referrals to other specialists will require you seeing or speaking with a GP. However, there are a number of local services, listed below, that you are able to make self referrals to.
Sexual Health and contraceptive services
iCASH provide free, NHS contraceptive advice, treatment for sexually transmitted infections and HIV care across Peterborough.

Insight Healthcare provide free and confidential talking therapies and counselling to anyone aged 17+ who is registered with a GP in the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire area. They offer help to people who are experiencing common mental health problems, such as low mood, depression, anxiety or stress.

PEDS are a specialist eating disorder charity based in Peterborough who support people with eating disorders.
CGL Aspire support people through problems with alcohol and drugs. Their mission is to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential.

Citizen’s Advice are a network of charitable organisations who provide independent advice on a wide range of everyday problems. They aim to give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.

Peterborough City Council Social Care Services
Your pregnancy journey is an important and exciting experience and we would like to ensure that your maternity care and support is right for you.
You should be offered a booking appointment with a midwife for a booking appointment by the time you are 10 weeks pregnant and have self-refer for maternity care at either Peterborough City or Hinchingbrooke Hospital using My Pregnancy Notes. Your pregnancy will be treated confidentially, even if you are under 16 years old.
